Saint-Gobain 9220 polycrystalline alumina polishing slurry is an aqueous slurry of alumina in which the fundamental crystal size ranges from 50 to 100 nanometers. Utilizing the same abrasive platform as 9240 and 9245, Saint-Gobain optimized the chemistry for 9220 to provide a better dispersion property in applications where easy spraying is necessary, such as polishing specimen samples on bench top polishing machines.
